Tonight we will see The Miz take on the United States Champion Sheamus in a rematch from last night's Monday Night Raw.

The Miz kicks off tonight's show as he makes his way to the ring.

The Miz's Miz TV

Miz has a letter to share with the crowd. His letter heavily copies the essay that LeBron James wrote about coming home to Cleveland, except The Miz is talking about leaving Cleveland for Hollywood. He says is now from Hollywood and considers himself a star. Sheamus interrupts and makes his way to the ring. Sheamus says the Miz needs to take his talents out of the ring, get in his car, go back to Hollywood, and drive his car straight into the Pacific Ocean. The Miz accuses Sheamus of being jealous of his money making face. Sheamus says Miz's money maker makes people want their money back (clever). Sheamus says he will kick Miz's head off at Battleground; he attempts a Brogue Kick but Miz rolls out of the ring to escape. Their match takes place later tonight.

Big E and Kofi Kingston will face Rybaxel tonight in a Tag Team Match.

MATCH: Rybaxel vs. Big E and Kofi Kingston

As Big E makes his way to the ring, I can't help but notice how gigantic this guy's lats are. I mean, my God they're huge. Curtis Axel and Kofi lock up to start the match. Axel has Kofi in a headlock on the ground as Kofi struggles to break the hold. He succeeds and tags Big E. Axel tries to control the big man but fails as he gets a hard shoulder block from Big E. Axel tags Ryback. Ryback is driving his shoulder into Big E in the corner. Ryback has Big E caught in a headlock, but Big E escapes and hits a huge shoulder block followed by three consecutive back breakers. Big E tags Kofi and Kofi jumps on the arm of Ryback. Kofi tags Big E right back and Big E delivers a huge belly-to-belly suplex. Kofi runs in to dropkick Axel who tries to interfere. Kofi dives outside the ring to knock down both Ryback and Axel.

*Commercial Break*

Ryback tags Axel and Big E takes the privilege of throwing Axel into the ring himself. Axel rolls out of the ring, Big E follows, but Axel rolls back in only to dive and take out Big E. Now Ryback is in and his in control of Big E. Ryback tags Axel and Axel tries to cover Kofi but gets a 2-count. Axel is back in control again, Big E tries to fight back but is on the receiving end of a knee to the jaw. Ryback tags in and tries to powerbomb Big E. He fails, and Big E tries to make the tag to Kofi. Kofi is in and delivers Trouble in Paradise to Curtis Axel for the win.

Winners: Big E and Kofi Kingston via pinfall

We get to relive the WWE 2K15 Sting trailer. Seriously though, what an awesome trailer. Sting is the man.

Raw Rebound time. Battleground is expected to be a filler PPV before Summerslam, but I think WWE might surprise everyone. I have a feeling something huge will happen. Brock Lesnar anyone? Maybe? I think he's going to show up. We'll see what happens.

Renee Young interviews The Miz backstage. The Miz's ego is out of whack as usual as he hypes up his superstardom. His match with Sheamus is next.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: The Miz vs. Sheamus

Sheamus shoves Miz in the corner who leans between the ropes to protect his face. The Miz receives a big shoulder block and we are back to a stalemate. Miz rolls out of the ring to protect his face again. An extremely boring match so far. Sheamus delivers a big clothesline as Miz once again rolls out of the ring. Miz comes back in and hits a clothesline in the corner. He goes up top, but Sheamus punches him in the stomach. Miz in on the receiving end of Sheamus' patent beats to the chest. Miz dropkicks Sheamus outside of the ring, and Irish whips him into the barricade. Miz rolls back in the ring in attempt to get the count out victory. Sheamus rolls back in at 9. Miz delivers right hands, tries a DDT, but Sheamus counters. Some back and forth action and Sheamus hits a powerslam. Sheamus misses the Brogue Kick, but ends up being able to roll up Miz for the win.

Winner: Sheamus via pinfall

REVIEW:

I'm not sure what to say about this edition of Main Event, because nothing really happened. I'm not any less excited for Battleground, but then again I'm any more excited either. It was rather boring, and I would've thought with the huge effort WWE is putting out to earn more Network subscribers, that this Main Event would've had some substance. Instead, we got a really boring rematch from Raw and a pretty boring diva's match as well. However, I can't say it was all negative. The tag match was definitely the highlight of the night. I'm a fan of Big E and I love watching him compete; he is probably my favorite big man in the company right now and quite honestly, I hope he wins the Intercontinental Championship at Battleground. I don't think he will, but he's the guy I'll be rooting for. Anyway, tonight's Main Event was okay at best. I hope Main Event brings bigger matches in the future. A rematch between Sheamus and The Miz won't bring in droves of new WWE Network subscribers.
