On tonight's episode, RVD is booked to take on NXT Champion Adrian Neville. Also expect to see an appearance from Big Cass, The BFF's, and more.

Tonight's show begins with The Vaudevillains making their way to the ring.

MATCH: Vaudevillains vs. T PErkins and Matt Sugarman

The match begins with English and Sugarman sqauiring off. Sugarman applies an armbar and tags in his partner. English hits a drop toe hold into a submission hold. He tags in Simonn Gotch. Gotch applies a figure four headlock. He hits a rolling senton and tags in English. English hits "That's a Wrap" for the 3 count.

WINNERS: Vaudevillains via pinfall.

A replay airs of Zain and Tyson Kidd's match from last night. An interview with Sami Zayn airs of him flipping out about Kidd walking away from their match.

CJ Parker comes to ringside with another protest sign.

MATCH: Xavier Woods vs. Bull Dempsey

The match begins with Woods throwing sweat into Dempsey's face. Dempsey drives Woods into the corner. Dempsey applies the headlock. Woods fights out but gets taken down t the mat by Dempsey. Woods is again put in a headlock. Woods hits a big forearm to escape but eats a big headbutt for a 2 count. Dempsey applies a chinlock and throws Woods to the mat for a 2 count. Dempsey applies a sleeper hold. Woods hits a jawbreaker. He gets thrwn to the apron by Dempsey and counters with a kick to the head. Woods goes off the top rope but is thrown to the mat by Dempsey. Dempsey hits the Bulldozer for the 3 count.

WINNER: Bull Dempsey via Pinfall

Dempsey gets on the mic and talks about how he is the last of a dying breed in wrestling.

MATCH: Summer Rae w/Sasha Banks and Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch


The match begins with Lynch and Summer exchanging dance moves. Summer tackles Lynch for a 1 count. Lynch fights back and applies an armbar. Summer hits a spin kick for a 2 count. Summer gets distracted by Sasha and Charlotte and gets rolled up for a 2 count. Lynch hits a leg drop for another 2 count. Summer Rae tries to fight back but hits an exploder suplex for the 3 count.

WINNER: Becky Lynch via Pinfall

MATCH: Collin Cassady vs. Sawyer Fulton

The match begins with the 2 locking up. Fulton drives Cassady to the corner and drives his shoulder into the midsection. Cassady is sent to the opposite corner. Cassady hits the big boot followed by the elbow drop for the 3 count.

WINNER: Colin Cassady via Pinfall

After the match, Sylvester LeFort and Marcus Louis come to the ring to beat up Cassady but Enzo Amore returns to NXT to save his friend.

Tyler Breeze joins the commentator table.

MATCH: Adrian Neville vs. RVD

The match begins with RVD applying a headlock and takes Neville to the mat. Neville reverses into a figure four headlock. Neville hits a series of armdrags and dumps RVD over the top rope. Back in the ring, RVD applies an armbar into a wristlock. Neville reverses and rolls up RVD for a 2 count. RVD hits a single leg takedown. Neville reverses and kicks RVD in the face. Van Dam reverses and rolls up Neville for a 2 count. RVD hits a kick from the middle rope and Neville rolls out of the ring. RVD hits a dropkick and goes for the moonsault off the apron but Neville moves. RVD jumps off the apron but eats a kick. Neville goes to the middle rope and hits a huge moonsault to the outside.

The show returns with Neville in control. Neville has RVD in a reverse chinlock. RVD reverses a suplex but Neville lands on his feet. RVD hits the atomic drop. He hangs Neville on the top rope and hits a side kick from the top rope. He hits a leg drop followed by rolling thunder for a 2 count. Neville is sent to the corner and eats a spin kick. Neville is again thrown to the corner and eats a another kick for a 2 count. Neville fights back and goes for a sunset flip but RVD counters for a 2 count. Neville reverses for a 2 count. RVD fights back and hangs Neville on the top turnbuckle. He kicks Neville in the face and and rolls him up for a 2 count.

Neville fights back with a flying forearm followed by a series of kicks. Neville goes to the middle rope and hits a missile dropkick for a 2 count. Neville hits a standing shooting star press for another 2 count. RVD fights back with a jawbreaker. He whips Neville to the corner and hits a big slam. Neville avoids the split leg moonsault and applies a small package for a 2 count. Neville builds momentum but is thrown into the air and kicked in the face by RVD. RVD goes to the top rope but misses the Five Star Frogsplash. Neville hits a big DDT and goes to the top rope. He hits the Red Arrow for the 3 count.

WINNER: Adrian Neville via Pinfall.

This was an eventful episode of NXT. With 2 premieres and a return, we got to see some fresh faces which was a refreshing change of pace. Bull Dempsey, although we've seen him before on NXT, made his official debut with a decent showing against Xavier Woods. Necky Lynch was good in the ring, but her gimmick really annoyed me for some reason. She was, however, very over with the crowd so who am I to judge? RVD and Adrian Neville had an awesome match. I like how they keep bringing down main roster talent to test the NXT Champion. It doesn't overexpose the NXT talent, and gives us a chance to see some of the biggest names in WWE display a loser, less choreographed style. Van Dam hasn't had a match that good in a while. It was nice to see that The Whole F'n show still has it.
