Tonight we have a loaded edition of IMPACT WRESTLING! It is the go home show before the pay-per-view this Sunday and it is also the first time we will hear from the former champion, Magnus since losing to Eric Young; In fierce one-on-one competition, MVP will take on A Double, Austin Aries; In a special tag team attraction, Gunner teams with veteran Bully Ray to go against (arguably) the greatest team in company history, BEER....MONEY, Bobby Roode and James Storm! All of this and more. Tonight should be a fun night with the fireworks starting at 9 PM Eastern!
The show opens up with Kurt Angle explaining that he has a match with Rockstar Spud and if Spud backed out, he would be coming for Ethan Carter; A vignette recapped the events of Magnus/Young and last week's Young/Abyss; Magnus officially starts the show by entering the ring and saying he didn't lose to Eric Young he was just let down by Abyss, he then proceeded to call out the monster, who responded in quick fashion.
Magnus stood holding an exposed turnbuckle. He called Abyss a disappointment. Magnus said Abyss works for him and not MVP or TNA and proceeded to fire him. Abyss told Magnus it wasn't about the money it was about having a sense of belonging. He said that he entrusted in the former champion but now, he truly realizes that all Magnus is is a self-centered arrogant jackass. Abyss said he hurts people and he was going to hurt Magnus, who responded by saying he would have the monster arrested. Out comes MVP... MVP said people deserve second chances and hired Abyss under the stipulation that he beats Magnus tonight! Abyss said he never liked Magnus and would kick his ass tonight...
The announcers run down the matches for the evening; Rockstar Spud was backstage and EC3 came in and said he had a plan and needed Spud to be a gazelle.
MATCH: Kurt Angle vs Rockstar Spud
Kurt made his entrance sending us to commercial.

Back from break, Spud makes his entrance and tries to take Kurt down but gets disposed of quickly before tapping to an Ankle Lock
WINNER: Kurt Angle via submission
Post match, Ethan Carter tries to get the jump on Kurt before Willow makes the save.
Backstage, The Beautiful People announced that they're going to give Madison a makeover tonight.

Back from break, Kenny King is in MVP's office. King shoots his mouth off which leads to MVP booking him in a match against a mystery opponent; out comes Madison Rayne who calls out TBP. Angelina and Velvet make fun of Rayne before saying she should be grateful for the makeover. Madison then suckered them in and attacked both girls. The numbers game proved too much and even though Brittany came out to try to even the odds, Madison was still on the receiving end of the paper bag makeover.
Ken Anderson who is now a blonde again said he was in Sam Shaw's hometown and would be taking a road trip to his childhood home. UP NEXT: Kenny King...

Back from break, there's a backstage segment where deal can agrees to team with Madison and Madison seems to deny Brittany and her help.

Lashley straight up dominated the match before Kenny took to the exit and got counted out.
WINNER: Bobby Lahley via cont-out.
Backstage, the former beer money had a great exchange; Ken Anderson knocks on Shaw's childhood home and finds his mother who is named Christy. Aries vs MVP is next.
(I apologize for my lackluster coverage. I'll be honest guys this show is a chore. I love this business but this is just an absolute chore to sit through.)
