WWE Tag Team Championship: The Usos vs. The New Age Outlaws
I personally feel the booking team did a huge blow to this story. Whilst the Usos title reign was long over due, they pulled the trigger to soon. It should have been the story of The Usos overcoming trial after trial and eventually winning their first championships at WrestleMania. Even having the Outlaws win the titles back prior to the Mania match wouldn't redeem this once potential moment. Either way it would be a injustice not to carry this story out to the biggest stage of them all. Honestly though, I say except more of the same, a 10 to 15 minute match at the beginning of the show to warm the crowd up, with The Usos winning. I'm looking foreword to this one, the feuds been a lot of fun and I'll miss the New Age Outlaws once they're done.
Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns
I don't think I need to give any rhyme or reason for why this match is going to happen. Nor do I think I need to tell you that it has the potential of match of the night. What I can tell you is all three men have a bright future, and if the whole team splits or just one, they'll do just fine in the future. Based on the way WWE's been booking him, I expect Roman Reigns to win the match up. I don't care who wins, all I care for is this match lives up to the hype. The booking and slow burn has been excellent and I can wait to see the fireworks!
John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt
It's amazing how for 2-3 months straight I can be so pumped and behind Bray Wyatt. Then the next not give a crap again, which begs me to question am I behind the Bray Wyatt character? Or just the guys he has been feuding with? Perhaps it's just the same-old-same-old interactions I've seen between Cena and other groups of competitors in the past. Either way the feud so far has been a piss break or a snack run to the kitchen. Hopefully the match delivers beyond my expectations. But between John Cena's awful selling and Bray Watt's rather dull offense I find myself not caring. Anyway Cena takes this over coming the numbers and hitting the Attitude Adjustment. – Yawn.
Triple H vs. Daniel Bryan
The WWE have done a fantastic job at pissing off the internet wrestling community. Whilst some are upset at the Royal Rumble booking, I find myself more upset of how weak the guys looked in the previous year. I can appreciate building an underdog story, but it's been a little much. But it can all be made right and I think it will be. In what should be a very good match, I see Daniel Bryan beating Triple H and going in to the main event of Wrestlemania joining Batista & Randy Orton
The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar
This match will be awesome! Or crippling, or both! Either way based off one skit alone I cannot wait for The Undertaker Vs Brock Lesnar. There previous matches were solid but now it's different. Lesnar is now a rarity and something special, as is the Undertaker who's utilizing a different gimmick. This match should be full of false finishes, weapons, and involvement from Heyman. In summary you should give this match the full works! Whilst normally I look to The Undertaker for the match of the night, I don't have that same confidence in Brock Lesnar. Even if it isn't, it should be a close second. As per the usual, Undertaker wins.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Randy Orton vs. Batista vs. Daniel Bryan
This match with the addition of Daniel Bryan has the chance to be an epic encounter. With Batista being protected and Orton and Bryan doing most of the work saves this match. Expect a lot of false finishes and over booking to make you doubt Daniel Bryan will win. But in the end we go off air to Daniel Bryan and a whole bunch of YES! chants.
In closing this PPV should be god damn awesome, the matches not listed aren't bad filler either. We have a huge battle royal to look forward to and in addition feuds between Christian and Sheamus, plus Cesaro Vs Swagger. The quality of some of the matches might not be all that good, but the over all quality of the four hour show will be saved by The Streak and the Daniel Bryan story.
Do you think my predictions are accurate? Am I expecting the right things from these matches? Let me know in the comments below.
