Conor O'Brian Eliminated from NXT 5: Redemption

Posted by Anthony Mango Tuesday, June 28, 2011

The latest elimination of NXT season 5 is...Conor O'Brian.

My take on the situation? It doesn't matter. I maintain that I don't think any of the participants this season were worthy of a "redemption" and that none of them fit the build of what WWE looks for in talent that raises above the lower midcard level. Whomever wins will just end up in the position that Yoshi Tatsu finds himself at right now and then released.

HOWEVER, they did introduce something interesting, in that Derrick Bateman is back and could potentially win. Naturally, I'm all for that. It's a cheap move on their part to just at the last second throw a new contender in, but frankly, I don't care, as Bateman and Bryan work really well together and I actually like them as opposed to Titus O'Neil, Darren Young, and Hornswoggle.
