Way to go, Carlito. Another smart step. This sucks cause I've always been a fan and supporter of Carlito and I always wished he'd ascend to the main event status as he has the tools necessary for it, however, he sure as hell didn't make it easy for them to put him in that spot, did he? Carlito's consistently bashed the company in interviews which can't help his standing with the powers-that-be, and now on top of those previous attitude problems, he fails a WP test and then refuses rehab? Come on, man!
Sure, Carlito wasn't exactly winning world titles, but he was being set up for a tag title feud with Primo and the Hart Dynasty, so that's something, right? I guess they'll bring up Orlando to team with Primo instead, but that won't have any driving force behind it since nobody cares about Primo and by default they won't care about "Tito" either.
HBK leaves, Shelton's released, Carlito's released...what's next? Am I going to find out tomorrow night that John Morrison's out too?
Carlito's someone that TNA should pick up. He's good in the ring, good on the mic, and a big enough superstar in the WWE that he could actually serve a legitimate spot on the roster, rather than buying up people like Jimmy Wang Yang.
