Ok, now, I understand releasing Kennedy. He was injury prone, dangerous to work with, and spent most of his time on the roster as an inactive participant (and therefore, offered nothing to the monetary concerns).
But why the hell did they release Umaga? The guy is their best "big man" that they've had since Vader, and he's young enough that he could have been employed for damn near a decade from now. Plus, Eddie Fatu was talented as all hell! How many guys that size are as agile as he is?
What boggles my mind even more than the fact that they released him is the fact that they still have some people on the roster that are FAR beyond their usefulness. What the hell has Khali done? He's crap. Vladimir Kozlov is absolute trash and has yet to improve in the slightest bit, but they keep him around instead of Umaga?? They've been paying Tony Atlas to do absolutely nothing for months now...why? Atlas literally walks out behind Mark Henry, takes his jacket off, stands near the apron, and then leaves behind Mark Henry. That's it. Yet he continues to get a paycheck while Umaga is released?
There goes my Undertaker/Umaga feud I was hoping for. Apparently that's not worth the effort, but we're most likely going to have to sit through yet another HHH/Orton feud when Levesque returns. The WWE needs to get their priorities in check.
