Future Endeavors: James Ellsworth Released from WWE

Posted by Anthony Mango Wednesday, November 15, 2017
As of 11/15/2017, James Ellsworth has been officially released from World Wrestling Entertainment.

My reaction: It's been a year since Ellsworth came into the company after having been a jobber that got squashed by Braun Strowman. Suddenly, he was the most featured person on SmackDown and eventually became a heel that was by Carmella's side doing basically nothing. After losing to Becky Lynch, really, what was there left for him to do other than continue to job out on the cruiserweight division's payroll where they didn't really need him? Makes sense.
