WWE Turn Alert: Andrade "Cien" Almas Turns Heel at NXT Tapings

Posted by Anthony Mango Friday, September 16, 2016
Andrade "Cien" Almas turned heel at the most recent set of NXT tapings on September 15, 2016. After losing a match against Cedric Alexander, he teased a turn, but then teamed up with Alexander for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. When he and Alexander lost their match against The Revival, Almas officially turned heel, attacking Alexander afterward.

My first reaction: Sure, why not? Almas isn't quite working out the way many thought he would, so if going heel can turn things around (no pun intended) then maybe that's the best option for him. I'll have to see how it's executed and how he works as a heel before I can have a full judgment on the situation, but hey, I'm at least interested. Plus, he strikes me as the type of guy I wouldn't like, so maybe this is a natural fit for him more than the babyface role.

What do you think of Andrade "Cien" Almas turning heel? Are you a fan of it or is this a mistake? What direction do you think WWE will take with this character change?
