Alberto Del Rio Suspended from WWE for Wellness Policy Violation

Posted by Anthony Mango Wednesday, August 17, 2016
On August 17, 2016, Alberto Del Rio was suspended for 30 days after a violation of the Wellness Policy.

Their official statement on WWE.com simply reads as follows:

WWE has suspended Jose Rodriguez (Alberto Del Rio) for 30 days effective tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 18, for his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.

My reaction: Dude's been rumored to be pissed for a long time. Maybe he's acting out? Maybe the company pegged him for a drug test to screw him over so they have a reason to release him and save face by painting him as the bad guy? Either way, if he's guilty, he deserves to be suspended, and if he isn't, no matter what you think of him as a performer, he should be exonerated.
