Future Endeavors: Alex Reyes (Alex Del Barrio) Released from WWE

Posted by Anthony Mango Wednesday, May 18, 2016
As of May 18, 2016, announcer Alex Reyes (real name Alex Del Barrio) has been released from World Wrestling Entertainment. [Insert text body]

My reaction: With the spring cleaning in full effect and two more prominent members of the broadcast team released beforehand (Rich Brennan and Kyle Edwards), this makes sense. Alex Reyes was probably the lowest on the totem pole and didn't seem to be much of a priority going forward. I haven't seen much of him, so I can't comment on whether or not I can see some untapped potential, but if WWE thought this was for the best, I'll trust them.
