Per usual, you can skip this pre-show, as it's just Renee Young, Lita and Corey Graves going over what's on the card.

So wait, it went from Revenge to The End, and now it's The End of the Beginning? WWE is still being as vague as humanly possible about this, too, which is kind of annoying, as it likely means nothing.

Andrade "Cien" Almas vs. Tye Dillinger

RESULTS: Andrade "Cien" Almas via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Good match for an opener. I'm not quite sold on Almas's look, but his in-ring work was fun. Dillinger continues to prove that he's an underutilized talent who deserves more credit. Fun way to start this event.

NXT Tag Team Championship: American Alpha (c) vs. The Revival

RESULTS: The Revival take the titles via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Disappointed in the outcome, but the match was amazing. I highly recommend going back and watching it if you missed this show.

After the match, two guys come out to attack American Alpha. I have no clue who these guys are. Paul Ellering comes out, too, as it appears he's their manager.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Austin Aries

RESULTS: Shinsuke Nakamura via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Amazing match. Again, watch it if you missed it. These two killed it.

NXT Women's Championship: Asuka (c) vs. Nia Jax

RESULTS: Asuka via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Better than expected, but still my least favorite match so far. Nia is improving, which is good. This was more entertaining than the Bayley match she had.

Bobby Roode is seen backstage when William Regal is being interviewed. More teases of him coming to the roster.

NXT Championship (Steel Cage Match): Samoa Joe (c) vs. Finn Balor

RESULTS: Samoa Joe wins via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: The match was good enough to justify watching it, but it still wasn't something super amazing. Kudos to them for pulling out something better than I was anticipating nonetheless.
