Smark Out Moment

WWE's Roadblock (March to WrestleMania) special WWE Network event takes place March 12, 2016 at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Follow along here for spoilers and information on the event's card, lineup of matches and news regarding the pay-per-view.

Here are my predictions for the 2016 WWE Roadblock PPV. Check back for results and review coverage here.

WWE Roadblock 2016 Spoilers

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Triple H (c) vs. Dean Ambrose

This is a match worthy of the main event of WrestleMania itself, so that's pretty awesome. There's no way Ambrose comes out of this with the title, but that doesn't mean this can't be beneficial to both parties. If Ambrose puts up a good fight, he'll look stronger going into his match against Brock Lesnar, and he'll possibly even win that one as compensation for losing this. Then again, how crazy would it be if Ambrose did win the belt and this became a Fatal 4-Way at WrestleMania?

PREDICTION: Triple H wins.


NXT Tag Team Championship: The Revival (c) vs. Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady

Well I certainly did not see this one coming, that's for sure. Not only did I not expect to see a single NXT match on this card, but I also wouldn't have expected it to be for the tag titles if that were the case. If Enzo and Cass were going to win it, they would have done that the last time. Since The Revival has been announced to be defending the titles against American Alpha at NXT TakeOver: Dallas, it seems like a foregone conclusion that they will retain here. This brings up an issue, though, where having Enzo and Cass on a main roster event like this could spawn their call up to Raw and SmackDown in some fashion. Perhaps they lose and bump into The New Day backstage, who makes fun of them for not being on their level, and we see Enzo and Cass against The New Day on the following Raw where they suddenly are included in the plans for WrestleMania?

PREDICTION: Dash and Dawson win.


Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt

Since we're no longer getting Bray against Brock at WrestleMania (thankfully), this will be the closure of their feud that started earlier this year. Originally, it was advertised that Brock would face Luke Harper, which I assume was a means to have him beat a member of The Wyatt Family without actually fighting Bray yet, but now that that's not the case, it's okay for Brock/Bray to happen.

PREDICTION: Brock Lesnar wins.


WWE Tag Team Championship: The New Day vs. The League of Nations (Sheamus & King Barrett)

There's been no real build for this for a while, but WWE kept reminding us of it over and over on commentary alone and now, Tuesday night, it's announced. I would bet that The New Day will retain here, but I wouldn't be shocked if they lost, too.

PREDICTION: The New Day retains.


MizTV / Highlight Reel / Cutting Edge Peep Show

Chris Jericho and AJ Styles will probably have some kind of promo to instigate each other.

PREDICTION: Skip.

The Divas

Something will happen with the divas, but it's not exactly clear yet. Charlotte won't be defending the title here, that's for sure. Brie could end up facing Lana (though I doubt that) or Naomi and Tamina can be paired up against Becky and Sasha in a rehash from Fastlane, if WWE wants to be lame.

PREDICTION: No idea yet.
