Smark Out Moment

WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2016 will be a SmackDown-exclusive pay-per-view event on  December 4, 2016 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Follow along here for spoilers and information on the event's card, lineup of matches and news regarding the pay-per-view.

Here are my predictions for the 2016 WWE TLC PPV. Check back for TLC 2016 results and review coverage here.

SmackDown's WWE TLC 2016 Spoilers

WWE World Championship TLC Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Dean Ambrose

This definitely has to be the final time these two face off for the title for at least a few months as this feud has more than run its course. Somewhere along the line, James Ellsworth will get involved, so look out for him to take some kind of table spot or something, which should be fun. Actually, this should be the best match of the night, since Ambrose enjoys hardcore matches, which means we'll definitely get an elbow drop, as he does that all the time. In the end, Styles needs to retain.

PREDICTIONS: Styles will be victorious.


SmackDown Women's Championship Tables Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Alexa Bliss

I would be totally okay with Alexa Bliss winning the championship here. Becky's had it long enough that it won't seem too weird for her to drop it, but she also doesn't need to drop it, either. This could really go either way, although if I had to pick which side I was leaning, I think Becky will retain. Then again, what if they have Alexa win and she drops it to Nikki Bella in a few months (at WrestleMania, for instance)? Hm....

PREDICTION: I'm rooting for Alexa but I think Becky Lynch retains.


No Disqualification Match: Nikki Bella vs. Carmella

I fully expect it to be revealed that Natalya was the one who attacked Nikki Bella, but in the meantime, it's great to see that they're going to not only do the No DQ match they teased between Carmella and Nikki, but they're also going to use this as a means to end the feud properly before transitioning to the Natalya one. Now that's how things should be done more often!

PREDICTION: Carmella wins when Natalya attacks Nikki again.


WWE Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match: The Miz (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler

This is the blowoff for the feud as Daniel Bryan said they'd go their separate ways after this match. They've had good chemistry together every time they've faced each other, so adding the ladder into the mix just makes me even more excited. This should be a lot of fun.

PREDICTION: The Miz retains.


SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: Heath Slater and Rhyno (c) vs. The Wyatt Family

It was odd booking with the Tag Team Turmoil match ending with American Alpha winning, but not actually winning, as The Wyatt Family was apparently still left, but didn't have to wrestle that night, but once that happened, it seemed like a guarantee The Wyatt Family would win the title shot. It's weird that after all this time, though, the combination of Wyatt Family members to most likely win the titles isn't Bray Wyatt alongside Luke Harper, Erick Rowan or Braun Strowman, but Randy Orton. That is, of course, unless there's some sort of interference from Harper or Kane which gets in the way and causes a disqualification or something. I certainly can't imagine Heath Slater or Rhyno pinning Wyatt or Orton.

PREDICTION: The Wyatt Family become champions.


Chairs Match: Baron Corbin vs. Kalisto

WWE's creative team REALLY wants these two to feud, don't they? This has been going on forever and they just picked it back up. What sucks is the end result will do more harm to Baron Corbin and no real good for Kalisto. I'm surprised they're going with the Chairs Match route.

PREDICTION: Kalisto wins.


Kane vs. Luke Harper

I'm assuming these two will be paired up again on the pre-show as no matches were announced for that.

PREDICTION: Luke Harper wins.

American Alpha vs. The Usos

If you're looking for a second or alternative match on the pre-show other than the Luke Harper and Kane match, it should be these two teams against each other.

PREDICTION: American Alpha wins.
