WWE Turn Alert: Samoa Joe Turns Heel on Finn Balor at NXT Tapings for 10/22/2015 | Smark Out Moment
On the October 22, 2015 tapings for NXT's November 4, 2015 show, Samoa Joe turned heel on Finn Balor, attacking him after his match with Apollo Crews.

My first reaction: I see why WWE did this, as I was expecting it to happen earlier (particularly, at NXT TakeOver: Respect). While we can't say for sure if this is a good idea or a bad one until we've seen it happen and some of the repercussions, I do think it could end up being a positive in the long run. Samoa Joe could be a great opponent for Finn Balor to overcome where he could believably defeat Balor at any time, so the fans will be invested in their title matches. Also, Baron Corbin was pretty much the only heel at the top of NXT now that Tyler Breeze is leaving and going to the main roster, so someone needed to fill that spot. Joe fits that spot better than pretty much anyone else who could be in the main event, so I'm down for this change.

What do you think of Samoa Joe turning heel? Are you a fan of it or is this a mistake? What direction do you think WWE will take with this character change?
