Pre-Show Match: Fandango vs. Justin Gabriel

To be perfectly honest, I missed this entire match, as I expected NO matches and that if there were any, it wouldn't start until 7:30 or afterward, per usual. Chris Dace said it wasn't a particularly good match; that Fandango botched quite a bit and his new gimmick tweak was awkward.

WINNER: Fandango via pinfall

There's a funny backstage segment with Mizdow holding up an empty frame instead of a mirror and The Miz acting like it is his reflection.

Bad News Barrett's theme plays and Booker T goes "oh HELL no!" At his podium, Barrett gives some bad news for John Cena: if he loses, The Authority will make his life a living hell and he'll wish he would have been fired. He also has some bad news for The Authority: WWE will not be lost without them if they lose power, because if that happens, WWE will flourish under the era of Bad News Barrett! The man.

Cesaro comes out to cut a promo about how Switzerland is always neutral, but he is endorsing Team Authority because it's what's best for Cesaro and the smart choice. He says "long live The Authority" in three languages, but is interrupted by Jack Swagger. Zeb Colter and Swagger endorse Team Cena. He says Cesaro isn't just picking a side, he's brown-nosing.

Cesaro vs. Jack Swagger

Very quickly into the match, Swagger is able to put Cesaro in the Patriot Lock, but Cesaro kicks him in the face to get out of it. Cesaro hits a German suplex on Swagger to get back in charge. Swagger battles back. He misses a Swagger Bomb, but capitalizes with a Patriot Lock. Cesaro escapes it and hits another German suplex. Then another. Then while attempting another, Swagger reverses and puts him in the Patriot lock again. Cesaro taps out.

WINNER: Jack Swagger via submission
Pretty good match for something random on the pre-show. Both men looked like equals.

Vince McMahon comes out to introduce both teams for the elimination match later on. Both teams talk smack against each other. (Cheap plug for Smack Talk!) Stephanie says that they'll still be running the show even if they lose and they aren't there. Vince clarifies that they'll still be in charge of finance, marketing, and their desk jobs, but they wouldn't have any influence over the careers of any WWE superstar. If that does happen and they lose, the only person who can bring them back to power is not himself, but John Cena. Cena says the likelihood that he will ever grant them power: no chance in hell. (Do do do dooo, do do do doooo)

WWE Tag Team Championship [Fatal 4-Way Match]: Stardust & Goldust (c) vs. The Usos vs. The Miz & Damien Mizdow vs. Los Matadores

Cody is wearing a lot of red tonight on his new outfit, which looks kind of weird. Mizdow is keeping up his shenanigans emulating what The Miz does. JBL blames this on a curse from Papa Shango (lol). The Miz taunts the crowd to get pumped for Mizdow to get tagged in, but then wags his finger and decides not to tag him. So good. Every time The Miz raises his hand, the crowd boos, but when Mizdow replicates it, they cheer so loud. Miz finally tags him in, but before Mizdow can do anything, Goldust tags himself in to replace Mizdow. Cody yells out "you don't want Mizdow, you want Staaaaardust!" The Usos go on a superkick spree, nailing everyone in sight. The Usos launch themselves over the top. Stardust jumps off the middle rope. El Torito flips himself into the mix but they catch him. One of Los Matadores jumps over the top rope to join the fray. Nice spot where...I'm not sure how to explain this...Goldust gives a super-side suplex to I think Fernando, while Goldust is given a side suplex of his own by Diego (or Fernando), who is also given a powerbomb by Stardust. Mizdow capitalizes by tagging himself in and pinning Goldust for the win!

WINNERS (and new tag team champions): The Miz and Damien Mizdow via pinfall
Very good match! Very cool outcome, too. Very glad to see Mizdow get the pin, which is smart considering the crowd reaction. Verily.

Backstage, Adam Rose and The Bunny are playing with some wrestling figures. The Bunny beats him in a match, which pisses Rose off. Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil come by to gloat about The Bunny being better than Rose. Titus makes a gyro/hero joke that I naturally liked because I love puns and word play. Rose challenges them to a tag team match for later on.

Divas Elimination Match: Team Paige (Paige, Cameron, Layla and Summer Rae) vs. Team Alicia Fox (Alicia Fox, Naomi, Natalya and Emma)

Naomi eliminates Cameron after a roll-up and a bridge. Alicia Fox shouts at the top of her lungs and damn was that loud. She's going nuts and really knocking down everyone on the opposite team, for the most part, left and right. Layla is the next to go after Fox nails her with a backbreaker. Nobody is eliminated on Team Fox yet. Natalya is in the ring with Summer Rae, pretty much just destroying her. Emma gets her chance to work on Summer, too. Summer Rae is eliminated via submission. Paige is the only person left on her team and up against the full other team. Paige attempts to leave. Emma stops her and eats a boot to the face for her efforts. Naomi hits her with the Rear View and then some sort of headscissor takedown for the pin.

WINNERS: Alicia Fox, Naomi, Natalya and Emma all survive.
All things considered, this was a pretty good match.

As they are celebrating, Tyson Kidd blocks Natalya and celebrates on his own accord. (LOL).

Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt

To be perfectly honest, I'm not feeling this match 100%. It seems like they want it to be a no-disqualification match, but weren't granted their wish, so they're struggling to not go that route. It also seems like Wyatt isn't able to keep up with Ambrose and needs to take a breather. Ambrose uses a chair on Wyatt and gets disqualified.

WINNER: Bray Wyatt via disqualification
This match wasn't as good as I had hoped. They really clearly wanted it to be a no-DQ match instead.

After the match, Ambrose jumps on top of Wyatt through a table. He then starts tossing chairs and tables into the ring on top of him.

Adam Rose & The Bunny vs. Slater Gator (Heath Slater & Titus O'Neil)

Rose can't seem to get the job done, so he tags in The Bunny, who actually kicks some ass and pins Heath Slater.

WINNERS: Adam Rose and The Bunny via pinfall
Filler segment that was just okay for what it was.

Live via satellite is Roman Reigns, who says he'll be back in about a month.

Team Cena is talking backstage while Erick Rowan is playing with a Rubik's cube. "Tonight, it's feeding time, and the big guy is hungry" says Ryback. There's only one thing left to do..."win", says Rowan.

Divas Championship: AJ Lee (c) vs. Nikki Bella

Obligatory message about how both of the Bella Twins look quite good tonight. Right at the start of the match, Brie stands on the apron. AJ Lee turns around and Brie kisses her. This is enough of a distraction where Nikki capitalizes and hits the Rack Attack. Just like with Daniel Bryan, AJ Lee has dropped the title in mere seconds.

WINNER (and new Divas champion): Nikki Bella via pinfall
Brie kissing AJ = guys should be happy. Anyone wanting to see this as an actual match = disappointed.

Elimination Match: Team Authority (Seth Rollins, Rusev, Luke Harper, Mark Henry & Kane) vs. Team Cena (John Cena, Ryback, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show & Erick Rowan)

Erick Rowan's new music is weird. Immediately into the match, Henry runs right into Big Show's fist and is knocked out and eliminated. How long before Rusev eliminates two people, maybe three? Rowan gets a bit of a pop when he tags in to face Harper. Before they come to blows, Rollins tags himself in. Ryback brings the fight to Rollins, then Harper, then Kane. Rusev evens things up against Ryback, but Ryback turns the table again in his favor. He hits the Meat Hook clothesline. Before he can hit the Shell Shock, Kane blasts him with a big boot and then everyone on both sides jump into the ring. Rollins hits a curb stomp while the ref is distracted. Rusev kicks Ryback and eliminates him. (BOOO. Making Ryback the first eliminated? WTF? Bad decision when that spot could have gone to Rowan, considering how popular Ryback is right now) Ziggler gets a big pop when he comes in, but soon becomes a punching bag. Everyone has their turn beating Ziggler up. Now we've hit the spot of the match where everyone hits their series of finishers. Rusev catches a Fameasser attempt and dumps Ziggler onto all of the other wrestlers. He starts dismantling the Spanish announcers' table. Rusev jumps from one table to the next, but Ziggler dodges and Rusev goes face-first through the table. The ref starts counting and in a few seconds, Dolph gets in the ring in time but Rusev is counted out. Rollins hits a curb stomp on Cena. Rowan and Harper are now the legal guys with Rowan definitively in charge. He hits Harper with a spinning heel kick (didn't expect that). Rollins kicks Rowan with some distraction from Kane and Harper capitalizes, pinning and eliminating Rowan. We are down to Cena, Ziggler and Big Show against Rollins, Kane and Harper. Big Show looks at the odds and knocks out Cena, who gets pinned by Rollins!!!! Wow! Big Show then shakes Triple H's hand and walks away. The only person left on Team Cena is Dolph Ziggler, while Team Authority still has Kane, Rollins and Harper. Ziggler kicks out, but is being manhandled by Team Authority. Ziggler hits a superkick and a Zig Zag on Kane and eliminates him! Harper kicks him straight in the face with a big boot. Harper hits a superkick on Ziggler, but he kicks out. Ziggler rolls Harper up and eliminates him! We're down to Ziggler and Rollins. I'm definitely expecting Randy Orton to come out and cost the match for Rollins, which would be an awesome way to end this event. Rollins misses a curb stomp. Ziggler hits a Fameasser for a two-count. Ziggler hits a Zig Zag, but the ref is pulled out from making the pin. The Authority interferes. Ziggler fights back. Ziggler hits another Zig Zag, but the ref is still down. A new ref comes out, but Triple H attacks him. Triple H beats down Ziggler and a new ref is called down. Suddenly, STING's music plays. STING IS OUT. He takes Triple H out and puts Ziggler on top of Rollins.

WINNERS: Dolph Ziggler is the sole survivor for Team Cena
Awesome match!

HIGH SPOTS

1. MAIN EVENT
2. Damien Mizdow and The Miz win the Tag Team Championship
3. Bad News Barrett returns

LOW BLOWS

1. Ambrose vs Wyatt is used to promote their next match more than this one
2. Mark Henry and Ryback are the first two eliminated instead of Erick Rowan and Kane
3. AJ Lee jobs out

CRITIQUE RATING SCALE: 3-COUNT (PINFALL)

Reasoning: Impressive matches with some fun outcomes and the debut of Sting. Even the low blows weren't really awful.
