WWE TLC 2013 Spoilers

WWE's TLC new pay-per-view is one of my least favorite concepts that they have, but that doesn't mean that the events don't deliver. Oftentimes, they can have some of the most exciting matches of the year. Fallout from Survivor Series will surely dictate the events that transpire here, but more importantly, the plans for WrestleMania XXX will influence what we see. Keep track of the matches that are announced and my predictions for the 2013 WWE TLC PPV. Check back for TLC 2013 results and review coverage here.


[Title Unification]: WWE Champion Randy Orton (c) vs. World Heavyweight Champion John Cena (c) - Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match
WOW. I didn't think that this would happen until WrestleMania, and honestly, I didn't expect it to happen then, either. This is HUGE and it really makes my whole idea of the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania plans change. It seems like John Cena should be the champion, but it also seems like Randy Orton needs it. I think we're going to see some kind of cheating where Orton wins. The Smark Out Moment crew has also suggested possibilities that what happens here is John Cena grabbing the WWE Championship and Orton grabbing the World Heavyweight Championship, effectively making them switch but not unify the titles. What do you think is going to happen?

PREDICTION: Randy Orton becomes the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.


Handicap Match: CM Punk vs. The Shield
I think this is a mistake. I don't know why they're doing this and I can't help but feel that it's going to result in The Shield looking bad. The very last thing they should do is have CM Punk look like he stands a chance against all three of these guys, particularly if WWE wants Roman Reigns to look like a beast.

PREDICTION: The Shield wins.


Divas Championship: AJ Lee (c) vs. Natalya
Who better to challenge AJ for the title than Natalya at this point? Smart move. This should be as good as they could possibly get, so I'm not looking down on it. Here's hoping they do what these two can do, instead of getting caught on a bad day and not performing as well as they should.

PREDICTION: AJ Lee retains.


Intercontinental Championship: Big E Langston (c) vs. Damien Sandow
I'm a bit disappointed that they're doing this match already, as it is too early for Langston to drop the title, but I would love to see Sandow as the champion. I was hoping Sandow would be the person to defeat Langston for the title a few months from now (maybe around WrestleMania). Oh well. This has potential to be good as both men should be looking to go out there and put on a great match to impress people backstage.

PREDICTION: Big E Langston retains.


Handicap Match: Daniel Bryan vs. The Wyatt Family
Well, this makes sense...I guess. If they're going to do it for Punk, they should do it for Bryan. I'm not too thrilled about this match, though. I think this is going to be a disappointment.

PREDICTION: The Wyatt Family wins.


Pre-Show Kickoff: Dolph Ziggler vs. Fandango
I'm not sure why this came about....but okay.

PREDICTION: Dolph Ziggler wins.

Tag Team Championship: Cody Rhodes & Goldust (c) vs. Ryback & Curtis Axel vs. Big Show & Rey Mysterio vs. Real Americans
Poor Usos, getting snubbed for an inclusion in this match. And how weird is it to think of Rey Mysterio and Big Show teaming up? Talk about forcing them in there. Cody Rhodes and Goldust should be retaining here by pinning Rybaxel or Swagger/Cesaro (my guess is by pinning Swagger).

PREDICTION: Cody Rhodes and Goldust retains.


The Miz vs. Kofi Kingston
It would be a shame if these two don't make it on the card to continue their feud together.

PREDICTION: Kofi Kingston wins.

Since Alberto Del Rio has his concussion, it's doubtful he'll have his match against Sin Cara. It's a shame Mark Henry won't have a match, either, most likely.
