WWE Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Daniel Bryan
It makes sense to ride the momentum and keep Bryan in the spotlight for now, despite how I'm not the biggest fan of him. This match will please a lot of fans while allowing that to happen as well as giving CM Punk someone that he can defeat until whatever plans they have for him to drop the title are in place. Should be a good match with them trying to steal the show.
PREDICTION: CM Punk retains.
John Cena vs. John Laurinaitis
This one I'm not so sure about making a lot of sense. I have no clue where they're going with this yet, but I hope whatever it is, it's good. It has the potential to be awful.
PREDICTION: John wins - and yes, I totally know that I'm copping out with that prediction for the moment until things get clearer.
World Heavyweight Championship [Fatal Four-Way]: Sheamus (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton
I smell something fishy here. Sheamus may be getting punished for the lack of response to his win over Daniel Bryan. This could be a sign that they think that Sheamus against Del Rio isn't big enough star power because of a lack of faith in Sheamus, so they throw Jericho and Orton in there as they have nothing else to do. I honestly would not be surprised if Sheamus dropped the title here to someone (probably Orton out of those) but I'm going to say that instead of it happening now, this will be a stall until they figure out what they want to do. Sheamus will retain, but he might not have that long title reign that was rumored to have started at WrestleMania.
PREDICTION: Sheamus retains.
Divas Championship: Layla (c) vs. Beth Phoenix
Should be quick and rather uneventful. Layla won't drop the title just yet, it's too early. This is just a standard replacement for the rematch clause factor that the Bella twins weren't able to cash in on fully as they left the company. Look for Beth to dominate and Layla to get a roll-up victory or something.
PREDICTION: Layla retains.
Tag Team Championship: Kofi Kingston & R-Truth (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger
For the record, I don't like the tag team of Kofi and Truth NOT because they're two random people, but because they're two random people that were thrown together haphazardly and won the titles with no real build. At least Air Boom had a few matches and some "we should tag together" talk before they won it, then became a legit tag team with the name change and whatnot. Therefore, I'm hoping that Ziggler and Swagger win the titles here. They deserve it as they've been working together for a long time and they mesh really well. I don't think it will happen, but I do wish it would. My guess is Kofi and Truth retain and then they need to beat Epico and Primo for their rematch clause at the next ppv or on Raw or something, and then they possibly have a tornado tag match or something with these three teams (or more).
PREDICTION: Kofi and Truth retain.
Pre-Show: Zack Ryder vs. Kane
Well, credit to them for continuing this feud, even though it has sucked since the very beginning and did nothing to boost the Cena/Kane feud but did everything to ruin Zack Ryder's momentum and push. I seriously don't understand what the purpose was other than sabotage. Ryder was popular, so they book him to consistently lose and write him off TV...ridiculous. I expect nothing other than for them to use this as an opportunity to have Kane beat Ryder again for no reason, unfortunately.
PREDICTION: Kane wins.
PREDICTED MATCHES
I'm expecting commercials, a promo about Lesnar and HHH but not necessarily a match, and they'll probably throw another match randomly on the card since they seem to like doing that nowadays - my guess being Brodus Clay versus Miz.
